2016 isn’t that far and it seems GM has decided to grace the year with a new Chevrolet Camaro.

Even though GM has not shared any details about the car, it is going to be the next big thing. There are just little bits of information that have been gathered from here and there but nothing so far ahs been confirmed.

We can only make guesses based on the photos that have been published; hopefully the guesses will be accurate about how it might look and what it might have.

From the shot, Chevrolet Camaro looks like it’s no going to be a complete redesign, but an evolution from where the car is today to what you expect of a modern car in the future.

The Camaro will ride on GM’s Alpha platform similar to that on the Cadillac CTS and ATS. It will be a rear wheel drive but the new platform will give it some good performance.

It is difficult to tell the possible engine, but it is most likely to be a four-cylinder type. It could also borrow something from Cadillac CTS and ATS that are having 2-liter turbo I-4 engines.

The interior can also not be seen in the picture but it is hoped GM will do some good work considering that the Ford Mustang has set the bar very high. Let’s wait and see, after all 2016 isn’t far.
