Everyone seems to be modeling underwear right now. Even James Corden of the “Late Late Show” is into it, and he managed to persuade soccer super star David Beckham to join him in his own over-the-top underwear commercial ad.
The ad that takes only one minute shows Corden and Beckham in their new “D&J Briefs” taking different poses, and saying that the fantastic underwear line is made “for a man with great body”. The union between these two has been built on a delightful long friendship. Beckham joined Corden for flower arranging, snuggling, sharing bath together, and a lovely day of hair-styling way back in 2010. They then produced a video of these activities to help raise money for the charity.
David Beckham an underwear model and a retired professional footballer showed his support for the new host of the late night US chat show by stripping down to a pair of tiny white boxers in a fake commercial for D&J, their new underwear range.
In a clear takeoff of some of David’s past adverts, the two model the pants while being filmed in black and white with a backing track playing while they read meaningless quotes about needing to feel ‘supported’ and ‘alive’. At one point Corden, who is clearly not embarrassed by his fuller figure, comments that he needs to feel ‘sexually aroused’, which Beckham responds to by saying ‘Excuse me?’ before the shameless host adds ‘You heard’. Beckham has previously modeled for Emporio Armani and he has his own line of underwear at H&M.
