Maleficent actress Angelina Jolie told Elle magazine that her wild and unapologetic attitude when she was in her 20s was not about destruction or rebellion, but rather it was pushing the barriers.
It is quite interesting that Jolie expected to be someone completely different than what she is today. When she was young, she never thought she’d find love, she said. But now, she is engaged to Brad Pitt and has six children.
She said she never thought she’d become a mother, find love and even find the right person. Since she came from a broken home, there were times when she thought that life is not a fairy tail and she just stopped looking for love.
Jolie and Pitt started their relationship back in 2005 in their hit romance-action movie “Mr and Mrs Smith.” During those times, Pitt formally adopted Maddox and Zahara, Jolie’s first two children. After that, the couple welcomed four more kids, namely Shiloh, Pax, Vivienne, and Knox.
Jolie said she is very inspired with her relationship with Pitt. She said they complement, challenge, and drive each other and it’s “beautifully crazy.” She said they have been through a lot after all the years they have been together and they have developed a certain level of friendship, comfort, and ease with each other that brings deep love. The couple announced their engagement back in April of 2012.
They are now dealing with introducing their children to showbiz.
Vivien will be one of the stars in Jolie’s “Maleficent,” which will be released on May 30. Zahara and Pax will also cameo in the movie.
Maleficent is a re-telling of the children’s fantasy story “Sleeping Beauty.” The story will be told in the point of view of the evil sorceress Maleficent, played by Jolie.
