Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Talks “Game of Thrones” in British Equire April 2014: No One Is Safe!
The fourth season of “Game of Thrones” is set to make its first presentation on April 6th with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau scoring a feature in the April 2014 issue of the British Esquire Magazine.
The 43-year-old Danish actor talked of everything from his character in the hit series of his upcoming film “The Other Woman,” as He rocked a few poses in designers’ duds from Pail Smith and boss for the James Dimmock-shot spread.
Here are some highlights from Nikolaj’s interview
Regarding to “Game of Thrones” character
He said that no one is safe and that the truth is it’s a scary thing. He added that after opening up the script, one start wondering if s/he will be alive the following week. He said that it is scary for an actor but it is also great because one is as curious as the viewers as to what will be happening next.
On playing Jaime Lannister:
He said that He was told about episode one on where Jamie had sex with his sister, puHed the kid out of a window and then said, ‘The things I do for love.’ He indicated that He thought that as an amazing way to start with a character because it was as dark as it was getting.
On “The Other Woman”:
Nikolaj said he had a lot of fun doing “The Other Woman” adding that it was an absolutely different from being covered in mud in “Game of Thrones.” He said one could not call Belfast sunny and that the guy He played would characterize himself as charming and great. However, He says that he is just a pretentious prick who is lying and cheating. He also said that the girls would then get together and sought revenge in rather extreme manners.
