Lipozene is a known weight loss supplement being sold online. The product claims that there are more than 20 million bottles already sold. It is marketed as a product that helps users lose weight without dieting which means effortless weight loss. The company behind it claims that the product is the number 1 diet pill in America although there is no evidence on such claim. One bottle is being sold on their website for $29.95 and it comes with a money back guarantee offer.
Company Behind Lipozene
Lipozene is a product of Obesity Research Institute LLC which is a relatively unknown company based in Los Angeles. The company offers products that are designed to aid in weight loss. The problem is that there are many complaints from customers regarding the claims of their products. In fact, Electronic Retailing Self-Regulating Program (ERSP) recently recommended that the company either discontinue or modify their advertising claims specifically for Lipozene. This is because of claims like 20 million bottles already sold, America’s number 1 diet pill and no known side effects.
There is only one ingredient in Lipozene which is glucomannan derived from konjac root which is a plant native to areas in Asia. It is a water soluble form of fiber that expands when it reaches the stomach. It works for weight loss by making the user feel full resulting to less food intake and the prevention of food cravings. It is said to have no known side effects according to the Lipozene website but studies have shown that it can cause side effects from loose stools to intestinal blockage especially with high doses.

- There are many negative feedbacks from people who have tried it.
I tried Lipozene after seeing the commercials and the millions of bottles sold stamp on the bottle at my local grocery store. After a couple days of taking them I do not notice a difference and I religiously take 30 minutes before a meal with water. I did have iced tea with the pills once and got a really bad headache, also I’m up by 1 pound. I would not recommend and will be taking these in for a refund. Thanks! – Sofia Rose (Amazon Review)
I want to say these pills do not work as the commercial claims. I know it is irrational, but the commercial claims that in the study the participants were asked to only take the pill as directed. NOT to change their diet or exercise patterns and they lost weight. So everyone saying “you probably didn’t change your diet or exercise habits the product claims that you don’t have to! I took these pills as directed and I cut back on my calorie intake and I gained eight pounds. I was horrified when I stepped on the scale! I immediately stopped taking the pills and now I’m stuck with two month’s supply of pills that don’t work. This company lies and scams thousands of people out of their money! STAY AWAY unless you want to gain eight extra pounds you’ll have to work off. – B. S. Richards (Amazon Review)
