You may have been using your iPhone for a long time, yet there are still things you didn’t know your iPhone could do.
- If you have committed a mistake while typing or editing a photo, simply shake your iPhone and it will ask you if you want to undo your last action.
- If you switch to airplane mode your iPhone will turn off its wireless and cellular access, which is both battery draining. Airplane mode will allow you to charge your iPhone two times faster than usual.
- Say “read my email,” and Siri will read your email messages for you. Isn’t that convenient?
- Say “what flights are above me” or simply, “planes overhead,” and Siri will give you a list of all the airplane flights at the moment.
- You can actually teach Siri how to properly pronounce words by telling her “that’s not how you pronounce (the particular word).” After that she will say the word in other pronunciation and it is up to you to choose which one best fits your preferences.
- Go to the timer app and then select “when timer ends,” scroll down and touch “stop playing,” and the timer will stop your music according to the time you set it. This is best if you prefer to doze off while listening to music.
- Hold down the “playhead” of the movie or music you are watching or listening to and at the top of the video screen there is a scroll bar you can use to slide, which helps you to navigate through the movie slower or faster to get you to the right scene you were looking for.
- Press the volume up or the volume down to take a photo. This is best for your difficult position selfies.
- Hold down your iPhone’s capture button for rapid shots.
- Hold down the text bubble and drag it to the left to see the timestamp and find out how long your boyfriend made you wait before he texted back.
