Car models and brands, with their style and performance, are the weighing factors that help consumers decide which one to buy. But this is not practical. Fact is, there are car brands, specifically those under the Volkswagen Group umbrella, that deliver the same performance but for a cheaper cost. Sometimes, these cheaper brands or models are even preferable over its expensive car brand/model counterparts.
Perspective is the key. Bentley, Audi, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Volkswagen, SEAT, Skoda, and Porsche are run by one corporate company, the VW Group. That mens they share engines and develop the same chassis components all together.
- Audi RS5 ($80,000) vs. Bentley Continental GT V8 ($15,000). These are both luxurious car brands but you gotta give it to Bentley. It’s a W12 powered coupe with a V8 engine that can keep up with Audi’s RS5. Both champion comfort tan all-out acceleration. What more can you ask for?
- Audi Allroad ($40,700) vs. SEAT X-Perience (TBA). Although the price for the Spanish SEAT is yet to be announced, it is expected to be thousands less than the Audi Allroad. It performs like an Allroad A4 Avant too with 182 horse power turbodiesel engine. It also has dual clutch automatic transmission.
- Lamborghini Huracan ($237,250) vs. 2016 Audi R8 V10 ($155,450). Both are new models with very powerful engines than their predecessors. But the car model developed by Audi will reportedly sell cheaper than the Huracan.
- Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse World Record ($2.7 million) vs. Ducati 1199 Panigale R ($31,000). A car versus a motorcycle seems like a mismatch but no vehicle has ever ranked so close to the fastest car in the world than the Ducati 1100 Panigale R. It is the quickest version of all the quickest bikes in the planet. In theory, it will even leave the mighty Veyron dead when it comes to road curves.
