
The new smartphone recently announced by the Korean tech giant Samsung is probably the eighth handset in the Core series.
It is called the Samsung Galaxy Core Max and is having model number SM-G5108. It is said to be the largest handset in the Galaxy Core family.
The smartphone falls in the mid-range category of handsets and is therefore not a flagship device from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Core Max sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with 540 by 960-pixels resolution. It runs the Android 4.4 KitKat laced with TouchWiz UI, and is having 1GB of RAM.
The device is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor and is having 8GB of built-in memory.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support and even LTE. Samsung Galaxy Core Max has an 8MP rear camera wide range sensors and a 5MP front facing camera. Its battery capacity is 2200mAh. The device is 8mm thick and is weighing 132 grams. It will only come in one color – white.
The price of the handset has not yet been disclosed by the company but we expect that it will do so soon.
