Sony just released its flagship, the Xperia Z3, just recently but that doesn’t stop it from working on its next flagship. The Japanese tech giant is currently working on Xperia Z4.
Rumors have been going round about the Z4 having a Quad HD display and now we have the leaked specs from Android Origin.
The detailed information from the leaks indicates that the upcoming Sony’s flagship will sport a 5.5-inch touchscreen with Quad HD (2560 BY 1440) resolution.
It will be powered by a 2.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit CPU and Adreno 430 GPU, but it will have the same omni-balance design like its predecessor.
The internal storage will upgraded to 32GB while the RAM will be upgraded to 4GB. The Xperia Z4 will sport a 20.7MP camera having a new curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor. It will have a dedicated amplifier for high quality sound. It will support Bluetooth 4.1 and LTE Cat.6 connectivity.
According to a source privy to Sony operations, the company has decided to bring only one flagship next year – the Xperia Z4. This is a deviation to what has been Sony’s norm of coming up with new flagship model every six months.
And there will be no Xperia Z3X as most people have been expecting. The Xperia Z3X simply doesn’t exist. Rumors had it that it had been benchmarked earlier this month.
