HTC One (M8) for Windows Review


HTC One (M8) for windows is a smartphone that runs on Windows 8.1 operating system. Its dimensions are 5.76 x 2.78 x 0.37 inches. It weighs 5.64 oz and its chassis is made of metal.


It boasts a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels at 441ppi. It is a multi-touch display featuring both light and proximity sensors.


It sports two cameras. The primary camera is 4MP with aperture size of F2.0. Its focal length is 28mm with a sensor size of 1/3”. In camcorder mode, the camera is able to take 1080p video. The beauty of this camera is that it offers burst mode, face detection, autofocus, geotagging and digital zoom. The secondary camera is 5MP and is great for taking self portraits.


The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 having a 2.3GHz Quadcore processor and the GPU on board. It has a generous RAM of 2048MB and a built-in storage of 32GB. The internal memory can be expanded up to 128GB via the microSD, microSDXC or the microSDHC slots.


HTC One (M8) uses a 2600mAh Li-Ion battery that has a battery life of 15 hours of talk time on 3G and 30 days of standby time on 3G.

Music lover are not left behind. The device offers a music player which is able to filter songs by artist, album or playlists. It also has stereo speakers and a slot for an earpiece.


The device offers a USB 2.0 and microUSB ports for wired connectivity. For wireless connectivity is via Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n.
