Microsoft has committed to bringing another Surface Pro 3 Wi-Fi update soon

There is good news from Microsoft to Surface Pro 3 owners. The company is releasing firmware updates for its Surface tablets.

According to Microsoft, the Surface Pro 3 will be getting another update “in the coming weeks.”

This update is meant to improve Wi-Fi connectivity and some other fixes that were not specified by Microsoft.

Microsoft has been working on its Wi-Fi connectivity for the Surface tablets. It already made available a firmware update to the Surface Pro 3 on October 6. The update was designed to allow for further customization of the behavior of the pen.

On its Update History site, Microsoft said the firmware updates are delivered in stages to Surface customers who are using Windows Update.

“As a result, not every Surface will receive the update at the same time, but the update will be delivered to all devices. If you have not received the update then please manually check Windows Update later,” the Softies said.

The Surface Pro, the ARM-based Surface RT and the Intel-based Surface Pro 2 are not going to get any updates.
