
Paranoid Android has announced the second release candidate for their Android KitKat 4.4.3 ROM. The second release candidate is mostly about fixing bugs the first RC brought to the ROM, alongside some minor visual tweaks.
The new ROM now supports more themes, including CyanogenMod and other AOSP apps. Hover and Pie have both gained “general improvements,” in the Google+ announcement the team didn’t go into more details.
Peek has “improved sensors algorithms” allowing the user to pick up the device and see quick notifications from their device, without having to unlock the smartphone.
Quick settings has been updated to include the new theme support and other small fixes. Theme engine has also been updated to include the new theme support, alongside a new fixed system to spot dialog theming.
Recent has also been updated to fix a glitch on the double-tap to clear all, alongside other crash preventing fixes. Double tap to clear all is unavailable on stock KitKat 4.4 and we really like it on Paranoid Android.
