The upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note successor would be a powerhouse of specs if the reports coming out of China are anything to go by.
The leaked handset would compete fiercely with the recently announced Meizu MX4. Most likely, it will have an octa-core processor MT6595 under the hood. It will also have a whopping 3GB of RAM.
The chipset will come with four Cortex A-7 cores clocked at 1.7GHz, and four Cortex-17 cores clocked at 2.2GHz. However, it will not be the true octa-core from the chip-maker.
This upcoming Xiaomi device will have an enhanced 20.7-megapixels main camera, an 8-megapixels secondary camera, and a 5.5-inch display.
It will be powered by a 3500mAh battery incorporating a rapid charging technology.
It will be upon you to choose the internal memory capacity that you desire as it will come in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB versions. The prices will be $165, $215 and $245 respectively for the first three. The price of the 128GB model still remains in suspense.
That’s not all. The phone is likely to have connectivity options of 4G LTE and NFC on board. Furthermore, it will employ temperature sensors and have gesture controls.
The chipset has undergone an AnTuTu benchmark testing where it scored 47,233.
Xiaomi is most likely to become an everlasting legacy if all these turn out to be real deal. It will be offering high-end specs at affordable price and therefore will compete well in the market.
