Two New Sleek Chromebooks Unveiled By HP

Refreshed Asus Chromebooks will be availed next month in time for holiday shopping. These new versions, the Chromebook 11 and the Chromebook, have new processors and will be availed in different colors.


The Chromebook 14 will be powered by Nvidia Tegra K1 processor instead of an Intel chip like most Chromebooks. It will have a quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU and 192 CUDA cores for graphics. The Chromebook 11 will use the Intel Celeron N2830 dual-core Bay Trail processor.

The battery life has also been improved. The Chromebooks will be able to run for up to 8.25 hours between charges.


The Chromebooks will have a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768, meaning the Chromebook 11 will have a higher pixel density. They will have built-in storage of 16GB each but the Chromebook 14 will have the ability to be equipped with 32GB SSD.

The Chromebooks will have either 2GB or 4GB of RAM. The Chromebook 14 will support DDR3 up to 1600MHz while the Chromebook 11 will come with 1333MHz memory.

The Chromebook 14 will be available in more colors than the Chromebook 11. These Chromebooks will be extremely affordable with the Chromebook 11 starting at $279.99 and the Chrome 14 starting at $299.99 when they will become available on October 22.


The Chromebook 14 will come in orange, silver, turquoise blue, or neon green while the Chromebook 11 will come in white and turquoise blue.
